What is a CSA?
Community-supported agriculture is a system that connects producers and consumers within the food system closer by allowing the consumer to subscribe to the harvest of a certain farm or group of farms. It is an alternative socioeconomic model of agriculture and food distribution that allows the producer and consumer to share the risks of farming.
In return for subscribing to a harvest, subscribers receive either a weekly or bi-weekly box of produce or other farm goods. This includes in-season fruits, vegetables, and can expand to dried goods, eggs, milk, meat, etc. Typically, farmers try to cultivate a relationship with subscribers by sending weekly letters of what is happening on the farm, inviting them for harvest, or holding an open-farm event. Some CSAs provide for contributions of labor in lieu of a portion of subscription costs

Pork CSA
For the 2024 season, we are pursuing our goal of a csa for our pork. Fall time is usually quite busy with harvest, preserving and preparing for winter, so a CSA will lighten the load of posting/selling our pork. This will also allow us to cater to people interested in local food security. We will be selling whole/sides and limited boxes this year.
A deposit will secure your meat and we will provide you with an estimate of final cost per pound based off of past seasons.
Our pigs are raised in pastures which they share with our free-range chickens, turkeys and ducks. They can run and play or lounge in the sun or shade and live a stress free life. They are anti-biotic free and eat nutritionally balanced feed as well as grass, roots and whatever else they love rooting for.
We raise a maximum of 10 pigs a season to ensure we can focus on providing them a great environment. We only have a few left to sell, so please contact
us for further information.
Veg/Fruit CSA
For the 2024 season we won’t be offering a fruit or vegetable csa.
As we’re still in our infancy as a farm, we have a farm stand at the end of our laneway where we sell free-range eggs and select veggies from our garden. Keep posted for which veggies are offered.
